CCAN
Communities Collectively Acquiring for Needs
The focus of CCAN is to obtain aluminum cans which would otherwise be discarded as waste and process them for redemption.
The proceeds will go towards but are not limited to providing food and various other services to low income, homeless, transient, refugee, men, woman and families.
"Necessity is the Mother of Invention"
CCAN was born out of a need to establish a method by which dedicated and determined people could apply themselves to legal and self fulfilling work that brings about the renewal of community and the rehabilitation of broken people and families.
By addressing food and housing needs CCAN believes that the people that society has discarded have value and can be redeemed just like the aluminum cans.
With an entrepreneurial vision of humanity helping humanity we hope to use cans and other "waste" to revitalize communities and to infuse a sense of self-determination and hope for those who may feel economically hopeless.
